BIOGRAPHY
All About Rui Filipe Gil Fernandes
A young man with great energy who soon realized that his way would be by the world of the arts. His academic career was quite enriching due to his passages in both public and private schools. The freshman year at the Lisbon Architecture College was a turning point. It was at this moment that the love for the built and its genesis sparkle inside. Since then it has been a continuous learning process. Concluded the master's degree Rui seeks a place where he can show all his love for architecture may it be in an studio or the constrution site.

In this period of time I carried out an inquirer work in the Mobility and Transport Plan of Sintra, where I developed the communicative capacity with the public, teamwork and knowledge about the municipality of Sintra and its residents. During this period, I went through the whole county, getting a better knowledge of the place that is increasingly sought after by both national and international tourists.

O presente trabalho final de mestrado serve como resposta ao desafio colocado pelos professores no âmbito da disciplina de laboratório de Projeto VI, tendo sido escolhida a tipologia de edifício industrial para a proposta de intervenção, onde o objetivo foi encontrar alternativas às intervenções de caráter capitalista que preenchem as nossas cidades provando que é possível proteger os valores patrimoniais e históricos de um edifício, sem que para isso os novos usos sejam prejudicados.

The present masters thesis serves as a response to the challenge posed by the project teachers within the scope of the Project VI laboratory discipline, and the type of industrial building was chosen for the intervention proposal, where the objective was to find alternatives to the capitalist character interventions that fill our cities, proving that it is possible to protect the heritage and historical values of a building, without harming the new uses.

THIS IS A LITTLE LUDIC WORK TO DEMONSTRATE THE POTENTIALITIES OF ARCHITECTURE IN WOOD AND HOW SOMETHING TRADITIONAL CAN BE BEAUTIFUL AND CURRENT.

CLINICA DIATRA
Diatra – Centro de Diagnóstico e Tratamento Médico
No caso do projeto proposto o relacionamento formal com a envolvente é assegurado pela reduzida intervenção no exterior, assim como a manutenção da linguagem existente nos edifícios. Funcionalmente é criada na entrada pelo n.º11 A um pavimento nivelado pelo ponto médio de contacto da entrada com a Rua Alexandre Herculano. É realizado um patim de entrada para aceder à escada de acesso à receção, bem como para aceder ao elevador. Este elevador permita melhorar a acessibilidade a pessoas com mobilidade condicionada, e propõe-se que este faça a comunicação vertical entre os diversos pisos, bem como assegurar uma ligação entre as diferentes cotas que a Rua Alexandre Herculano e a Travessa do Enviado de Inglaterra. No tardoz do edifício é colocada uma saída de emergência. Toda a clinica assenta em cores claras como o branco e um azul claro cores que além de serem transposição da fachada do edifício transmitem uma sensação de limpeza e harmonia aos pacientes, com alturas de pé direito diferentes marcando os espaços mais coletivos dos individuais, como é exemplo a zona de espera da clinica.
